Levi's First Smile

Levi is growing up so fast! He is already wearing cloths that Patrick was at 3 months old. Eliza is a sweat big sister, and Patrick can't wait for Levi to get bigger so he can wrestle with him.

Levi Richard Toone is here!

Levi Richard Toone is here!!! At 10:39 PM our little boy was born. He weighs 7 lbs 10 oz and is 20.5 inches long.

Dr. Cannon (Ang's doctor) was out of town, but her backup, Dr. Gemmell was so good (and by the way she's a hard-core Mtn. Biker). Our nurse Jessyka was fantastic!

Angela and Levi are doing great!

Time Flies When You're Havin' Fun!

So last Thursday I get a text from Angela as she is leaving the Dr's office - "I just scheduled the remaining visits before the baby's due day - 6 WEEKS! WOW, where did the time go? I can't believe we are going to have another baby. I am way excited and I think it will be fun to see Eliza become a wonderful big sister and to watch her take care of him. Patrick, may not know how to respond to the attention loss, but I think he will be cool with it.

Well a lot has happened since my last entry here...

I started a new job in the end of February - I now work as the Web Manager for the Canyons School District. I am loving it! The people are great to work with and it's fun to be a part of building a new school district. Even though I have to wear a tie everyday, except Fridays now (YAY!), there is a fun atmosphere - everyone rides scooters around the office.

Eliza turned 5 years old last month, and she is just growing up, not only physically, but mentally as well. She has started to read and Angela and I are just amazed because we haven't really pushed her towards it, she is just doing it on her own. Just this past Saturday we took off the training wheels on her bike and so now I am teaching her how to ride her bike.

Patrick still loves super heros and star wars like no other. He runs around the house with his red cape singing the superman theme music - I love it! Then he and I will have light-saber fights with the foam swords we have. Playing with Patrick makes me feel like a kid again and allows me to not look like a weirdo who plays with foam swords by myself :)

Angela and I are really working hard to improve the home. We are finishing up remodeling Eliza and Patrick's room, and now we are starting on the nursery. We are working extremely hard to get out of debt and prepare for the future. It helps so much to communicate and I really feel like we are on the same page in all aspects of our home and family life. She is teaching piano and playing the occasional jazz gig.

Angela's Expecting!

WOW! It has been a super super long time since I have written on out blog. Oh well, life happens!

Anyhow, I just wanted to post that Angela is expecting and we found out last week that it's going to be a boy. She is due April 27th and we are really excited. Eliza got to go to the ultra-sound and that was fun. Patrick loves telling everyone that he is a big brother - I don't think he quite understands what that means yet, but he will soon find out. Now we have the fun task of finding a name for the kid.

Angela's Expecting!

Eliza drew this picture today after we told her that her Mom is going to have another baby. The response and expression on her face was precious as we told her that we were going to have another baby. Angela is due the end of April 2009 and we are so excited!

Remodeling the basement

Yup! It's time to remodel our 60's style basement! I know it will be sad for some of you not being able to enjoy the fine wood paneling and funky lights around the room, but it's time for us to enter the 21st century of design. I will upload some current photos so the memory of the 60's party room can live on forever! If we're lucky we will be finished with the remodeling in a few weeks, and we'll get some of the photos up online too (yeehah).

Peace out!
